1
Put a skull bead down a headpin. Set the bottom of the head pin down on a flat surface, and hold the bead down the pin tightly with your fingers. Use your pliers to turn the headpin 90 degrees about one-quarter inch above the skull bead,. Trim the headpin one-quarter inch from the vertex. With the pliers, loop the headpin back toward the skull bead. This creates a small loop to attach the bead to string.

2
Measure your four colors of string a yard each. Loosely tie them together at one end. Tape this knot to a table or surface. This will prevent the string from moving around while making your bracelet. Separate the strings in a row going black, green, white and gray.

3
Hold the green, white and gray strings together. Take the black string and make a number four over the other strings. Pull the black string through the middle of the four. Pull the knots as tightly as possible. Do this four times.
-
4
Loop a skull bead through the black string and push it up towards the top. Do your fifth knot in the sequence. This should secure the skull bead into place. Do four more knots with the black string.
-
5
Hold the black, white and gray strings together and repeat steps three and four with the green string. Stop on the fifth knot to add a skull bead. Repeat with the other colors until your bracelet is long enough to fit around your wrist.

6
Take two colors in one hand and two in the other and make two tight knots. Loop one part of the spring ring clasps down two of the colors, and make another two knots with the four colors. Cut off the additional string. Repeat this on the other end.
