1
Wet your hair with lukewarm water. Apply a small amount of moisturizing shampoo to the palm of your hand.
-
2
Gently massage the shampoo into your hair. Stimulate your roots by lightly massaging the shampoo into your scalp. Rinse the shampoo out of your hair.

-
3
Apply a small amount of moisturizing conditioner to your hand. Rub the condition between both hands and apply to your hair. Start at the bottom of your hair and stop midway between the bottom of your hair and the roots.
-
4
Comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb. Start at the end of your hair and work your way up to the roots. This disperses the conditioner throughout the rest of your hair without dispersing too much at your roots.
-
5
Rinse the conditioner thoroughly out of your hair.
-
6
Grasp your hair in your hand and gently squeeze. Gently squeeze the hair from the root to tip. This gets rid of excess water without rubbing the hair.
-
7
Squeeze a small amount of anti-frizz serum in the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together and apply the serum on the ends of your hair.
-
8
Comb the rest of your hair with a wide-toothed comb. Start at the bottom and work up to your roots.
-
9
Set your blow dryer to a low or medium heat setting. Turn the blow dryer on and dry your hair until it is almost completely dry. Run a round brush through your hair as you dry. This adds volume and also keeps the hair from tangling during the blow drying process.
-
10
Click the "Cool" setting on your hair dryer. Finish drying your hair on the coolest setting. Turn the hair dryer off and brush your hair with the round brush.
-
11
Style your hair in a pony tail or pin it back. This type of hairstyle prevents the hair from tangling in windy conditions. Spray your hair with lightweight hairspray.
-
12
Point the hairspray nozzle at your hair and spray 6 to 8 inches away. This keeps your style in place.
