How to Make Bridal Shower Tags
Create custom, personalized bridal shower tags to attach to the favors for your guests. The tags are made from a sturdy cardstock paper and are printed with a special picture of the bride or the couple. The details of the event are written in elegant calligraphy and a bridal-themed fabric is attached to the back of the tag and bound with a coordinating binding tape. Add a simple piece of satin ribbon to one corner of the tag and attach it to your favors for a wonderful keepsake.

Instructions

-
1
Open the digital photo on your computer. Resize the image to 2 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches wide. You can adjust the size to avoid blurring, but try to keep the size close to the guideline.
-
2
Open a word processing program and create a table with two columns and three rows. Paste the picture three times in the left column, once per row.
-
-
3
Print the page onto a piece of cardstock on a high quality print setting. Cut out the six individual grid squares from the cardstock to make the tags.
-
4
Write the bridal shower details on the right side of the tag. Use a calligraphy pen to write the bride's (or couple's) name and the date of the event.
-
5
Measure the length and width of one of the tags. Cut six pieces of bridal-themed fabric to this size. Spread some glue on the back of each tag and press the fabric against the glue.
-
6
Cut four pieces of double-fold bias binding tape for each tag. Cut two pieces to the length and two pieces to the width.
-
7
Sandwich the sides of the tag between the binding tape and sew a running stitch around the edge of the tape to join it to the tag. Repeat with each tag.
-
8
Use a hole punch to make a hole in the top, right corner of each tag. Cut an 8 inch long piece of 1/4 inch wide ribbon for each tag and slide the ribbon through the holes in the tags. Tie the ribbon in a bow or attach it to the favor.
