Instructions

    • 1

Roll up a towel and place it on a hard, flat surface. This will keep your cuff bracelet from bending when you poke the holes.

    • 2

Position a finishing nail in the area where you want your embellishment. Strike the nail with a hammer to poke a hole in the bracelet.

    • 3

Reposition the nail close to your first hole and poke a second. The holes should be close together so they are hidden by your beaded decoration.

    • 4

Thread a needle with invisible thread. Fishing line will work in place of invisible thread if you don't have any.

    • 5

Sew your beaded embellishment onto the bracelet. Work in and out of the holes a few times to ensure your beads are secure. Cut the invisible thread or fishing line, leaving two long tails. Tie a double knot to secure the thread ends. Snip off the excess thread.

Tips & Warnings

  • Apply a small dollop of hot glue to the back of threads to prevent unraveling.

  • The poked hole on the metal cuff will be the same diameter as the nail.
