How to Record on an EVO
The HTC EVO is an Android smartphone that offers an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera that allows you to record HD video in 720p, and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera that you can use as a Webcam or for video chatting. The EVO's zoom and automatic face detection features allow you to hone in on what you are recording, while the large 4.3-inch touchscreen allows you to view the videos that you record in full-screen size.

Press the "Home" button, then tap the "Settings" button.

Tap "Camcorder" on the Settings menu to open video mode.

Slide your finger slowly up and down the screen or zoom bar to zoom in or out on what you want to record.

Touch an area of the screen that you want to focus on or allow the EVO's camcorder about two seconds to autofocus on the subject.

Tap the circle "Record" button on the screen to start recording a video.

Tap the square "Stop" button on the screen when you are done recording the video.

Choose what to do with the video you recorded by tapping the "Save," "View," "Send" or "Delete" button on the screen.
