How to Paint Your Face for a Steelers Game
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been playing as a team since 1933. Like all football teams, the Steelers have a core group of fans who enjoy showing their support by wearing team jerseys, making signs and wearing face paint. If you want to get in on the hard-core support, you can also paint your face. There are many ways to do this, but two basic designs are the team logo on your cheek and a more colorful full-face design.
Instructions
-
Cheek Paint
-
1
Dip a small paint brush in water.
-
2
Draw the brush against a container of white pancake makeup. The water will activate the product.
-
-
3
Paint a 2-inch white circle on your cheek. Allow this makeup to dry. It should only take a minute or two.
-
4
Paint a black line around the circle and an "S" within the circle on the left side.
-
5
The diamonds are a very specific shape. Paint a yellow diamond with rounded edges inside the circle at the top, a red diamond to the right and a blue diamond at the bottom.
Full Face
-
6
Apply yellow pancake makeup to the left half of your face with a wet sponge. It should cover your entire face from hairline to chin, including the neck and ears if you want.
-
7
Apply black pancake makeup to the right half of your face.
-
8
Add the design from Section 1, either on your cheek or forehead. Wipe a circle of your skin clean with a baby wipe before applying the Steelers logo.

Tips & Warnings
Pancake makeup dries with no need for powdering.
Do not let your face paint get wet; it will run and ruin the design.
