How to Close the Oblivion Gate in Chorrol Platinum Hits Edition

"The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" is a role-playing game set in Tamriel. Oblivion gates appear randomly throughout this world -- these gates lead you to an alternate reality called "Oblivion." To complete the main quest, you will need to enter these Oblivion gates and close them. The monsters coming out of the Oblivion gate outside the town of Chorrol are threatening the safety of the town, and you must close the gate to continue the main quest.

Instructions

1. Walk up to the Oblivion gate and enter the realm of Oblivion. Walk southwest toward the largest tower and kill any monsters you find on the way.

2. Open the door to the tower and pull the lever and jump onto the corpse masher to go to the very top of the tower.

3. Walk up the spiral staircase to the top of the tower, then open the door straight ahead. Walk across the bridge to open the door to the next tower.

4. Open the door to the left and walk across the next bridge to the third tower. Pull the "Eruption Gate" lever, then walk down the hallway to open the next door.

5. Walk upstairs all the way to the top of the tower, then stand in front of the flame and activate the sigil stone. This will close the gate and the sigil stone will appear in your inventory.
