1
Base your costume on an old sweatshirt and sweatpants or zip-up jumpsuit. Lay each item flat on a piece of shaggy brown fake fur fabric and draw around it to create a rough pattern.
-
2
Cut out matching pieces of fake fur and glue them on to the items of clothing with fabric glue. It doesn't need to be done neatly, but try to cover all the clothing underneath.

3
Glue pieces of fur to the back of some large brown leather gloves. Cut large fingernail shapes from cereal box card and glue them on to the ends of the fingers. Paint them with acrylic craft paint to blend with the costume.
-
4
Make huge feet by using rubber boots as a base for papier mache feet. Scrunch up newspaper into giant foot shapes. Use sausage-shaped rolls of paper for the toes. Tape the newspaper to the rubber boots with masking tape. Cover the whole thing with three layers of newspaper papier mache, using strips of newspaper dipped in diluted white craft glue. Paint with acrylic craft paint and add fake fur to the tops of the feet.

5
Wear a caveman mask and a long, shaggy brown wig. Alternatively, make a wig or cover a hood with leftover fake fur.
