File your complaint via hard mail or online.

Filing a complaint about a previous employer in Florida is essential to keeping businesses honest and reporting unlawful activity. Filing a complaint is necessary if you are not receiving unemployment compensation from your former job, for example. In Florida, the Jobs and Benefits Office (JBO) with the Agency for Workforce Innovation (AWI) is the place to contact with complaints and employer information. Contact the AWI without delay if you have a legitimate complaint to rightfully report the issue through appropriate channels.
