How to Download a Facebook Photo to an Android
Although the dedicated Facebook application for your Android-powered smartphone is able to display any images or photos in your albums, your friends' albums or in posts on your wall, not all photos can be downloaded to the smartphone and saved. Your Facebook account can also be accessed via the smartphone's built-in Web browser, which is able to download images, including Facebook photos, and save them to the device's SD memory card.

Launch the Web browser on your Android smartphone by tapping its icon on the home screen.

Tap the address bar at the top of the screen, and type "Facebook.com" to navigate to the Facebook website.

Enter your Facebook account's username and password in the relevant boxes. Tap the "Sign In" button to continue.

Tap the "Friends" button, and locate the friend whose photo you want to download, or browse through your Facebook wall until you see a thumbnail of the desired photo. Tap the photo to load it at full-screen resolution.

Tap and hold the photo until a context menu appears. Tap the "Save Image" button, and the photo will be downloaded and saved to the "Pictures" folder in your device's memory card.

Tips & Warnings
You can send the photo as an email using the "Share Image" button in the context box.
The Facebook website will automatically load a user interface designed to fit the Android's web browser screen.
Ensure you are not breaching any copyright when saving images to your smartphone from Facebook or the Internet.
