How to Migrate From AOL to Gmail
Gmail features an option for importing all of the contacts and emails associated with a separate email account into your Gmail inbox. In addition to migrating all of your contacts and messages, the option also allows you to automatically import the email you receive for the next 30 days. Although the import option doesn't support all email providers, it's fully compatible with AOL accounts.

Go to your Gmail inbox, click the gear icon in the upper right area of the window and click "Mail Settings."

Select the "Accounts and Import" tab and click "Import Mail and Contacts."

Type your AOL email address in the text field and click "Continue."

Type the password associated with your AOL email address in the text field and click "Continue."

Click all of the check boxes to perform a full migration, type "Migrated from AOL" in the "Add Label to All Imported Mail" text field and click "Start Import." Gmail migrates your AOL account to your Gmail account.
