1
Unfold sheets of tissue paper and line them up on a flat surface, edge to edge until you reach your desired length.
-
2
Unravel and cut a piece of yarn long enough to stretch across the lined-up tissue paper and leave 4 inches of extra yarn on either end.
-
-
3
Place the yarn across the tissue paper so that it crosses the horizontal center of each sheet of tissue paper.
-
4
Squeeze a bead of white glue directly over where the yarn lays, on both the paper and yarn.
-
5
Fold the paper where the yarn lays by pulling the top edge to meet the bottom edge. Press your fingers along the fold to keep the yarn in place.
-
6
Cut slits through both layers of tissue paper from the bottom edge to 2 inches from the top edge. Cut a slit every inch along the lined up tissue paper. Use the 4-inch ends to hang over tacks, hooks or nails and display the garland.
