How to Put on a Toenail Separator
A pedicure should be immaculate -- the cuticles should be pushed back or clipped, the nails filed evenly and the polish applied evenly without a drop on the skin. The last thing you want, after a painstaking paint job, is to botch up your lovely pedicure. Without realizing it, you can smudge your lovely paint job with a reflexive toe wiggle. This is where a toe separator comes in handy. Toe separators are readily available in the beauty section of most pharmacies, or you can make your own using a paper towel. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

Toe Separator
-
1
Put on flip flops after you've washed your feet, filed your nails and clipped your cuticles.
-
2
Put on the toe separator before painting your nails. Putting a toenail separator after your paint will risk smudging the paint. Wedge the toe separator between your toes. There should be a divider between each toe.
-
-
3
Wait for your nails to dry before removing the toe separator.
Paper Towel Toe Separator
-
4
Take a square sheet of paper towel. Place it in front of you so it looks like a diamond. Roll up the bottom corner to the top, twisting it tightly.
-
5
Start at the space between your big toe and second toe. Weave the paper towel around each toe, pushing it down toward your foot.
-
6
Weave back around your toes so both ends of the paper towel end up between your big toe and second toe. Twist these two ends together so they're out of the way and won't ruin your paint job.
