Instructions

    • 1

Cut a striped sheet into a 30-inch by 30-inch square. This can be bigger depending on the size of person who will wear it.

    • 2

Cut a piece of gold colored cloth into two 25-inch long strips. These can be longer if the head of the person is bigger.

    • 3

Roll a sheet of aluminum foil diagonally and then mold a snake's head out of the end of the foil. Place the foil on newspaper in a well ventilated area and spray it with gold paint. Allow the paint time to dry.

    • 4

Sculpt the body of the snake and flatten the end around middle of the gold cloth headband. Staple the flat part of the headpiece to the headband.

    • 5

Place the cloth on the wearer's head. Tie the headband over the brow of the person securing the cloth in place. Make sure that the headpiece is positioned at the front of the headdress over the wearer's eyes, level with the nose.
