Instructions

    • 1

Obtain a heart-shaped wreath base, available at craft supply shops. The base can be made from foam, wicker, wire or wood.

    • 2

Cover the length of a cork with a line of hot glue. Press the cork into the heart's interior edge. Fill in the interior by repeating the gluing pattern. Work your way out, gluing the corks to the front edge of the wreath, keeping all the corks facing the same direction to form a base layer.

    • 3

Glue additional corks to the top of the base layer at differing angles, forming the pattern of your choice. Continue gluing the corks along the sides and front of the heart until it achieves the look you prefer. Allow the glue to dry thoroughly.

    • 4

Attach a hook to the back of the heart wreath base for hanging. Glue or nail it into place depending on the material.

Tips & Warnings

  • Adorn the finished wreath or leave it plain.
