How to Troubleshoot the 8300HD
The Explorer 8300HD digital video recorder, or DVR, is commonly used by many cable companies. It is manufactured by Scientific Atlanta and operates like a regular cable box with DVR capabilities. The 8300HD is often equipped with a 320GB hard drive that is capable of storing approximately 90 hours of standard definition programming, or about 20 hours of high definition programming. If your 8300HD is experiencing a technical issue, you may be able to troubleshoot the problem yourself.
