How to Restore an iPhone's Apple Screen
Restore an iPhone's "Apple" screen whenever your iPhone freezes to restart the device and begin using it again. As is the case with laptop and desktop computers, iPhones sometimes freeze and aren't able to resume normal operation without being restarted. Once the Apple symbol appears on the screen, you know you have successfully restarted the iPhone.

1
Hold down the iPhone "Home" button and the "Lock" button at the same time. If a "Slide to Power Off" bar appears, don't slide it; this shuts the iPhone off completely, rather than restarting it.
-
2
Wait for the Apple icon to appear on the device's screen. The wait should be within five to 10 seconds. Continue waiting for the device to boot up and be ready for use.

3
Resume using the iPhone as normal. Data from your previous session may have been lost, so open any apps you were using when you restarted the phone to inspect for any data loss.

Tips & Warnings
If your iPhone frequently freezes, consider restoring the device to its factory settings, a procedure Apple recommends for iPhones with chronic operational problems. To do this, connect the iPhone to the computer, launch iTunes and select the "Restore" button. Click "Yes" when iTunes asks you back up the data, then wait for the iPhone to restart and follow the on screen instructions to restore your backed-up data and complete the process.
