Paint your project as normal. Let the painted areas dry as stated in the directions of your specific type of paint.

    • 2

Clean the areas you desire to glaze if they already were painted or if you prefer not to paint them. If you are not painting, remove all dirt and grime with light detergent, water and a cloth and sand any rough areas. If the project was already painted, use your cleaning agent to clean the object, and remove any loose or chipped paint.

Paint small sections of your project one at a time with pearl glaze once it the regular paint has dried. It is best to wait at least one day to allow for the complete drying of new paint. If you use a spray brush, dilute up to 40 percent of the glaze with water.
