How to Cut Plywood With the Dremel Multi-Max
The founder of the Dremel Company, Albert J. Dremel, invented the rotary tool in the 1930s. Dremel is currently owned by the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation. The Multi-Max is an oscillating tool with which homeowners and craftsmen can tackle many projects. By changing the attachments, the operator can cut, sand, remove grout, scrape and grind. Cutting a sheet of plywood is accomplished with the Wood Flush Cut Blade. Installing the blade on the Multi-Max is done by inserting it on the end of the tool and tightening it with an Allen wrench. - Pencil

Mark a cut line on the plywood with a straightedge and pencil. Lay the plywood on a work bench so that the cut line is hanging over the edge.

Install the Dremel Wood Flush Cut Blade onto the end of the Multi-Max. This is done by inserting the blade on the tip of the cutter and tightening the bolt with an Allen wrench.

Plug the Multi-Max into an outlet and start the tool at medium speed for optimal control.

Align the Multi-Max's blade with the cut line and hold at a 45-degree angle.

Push the tip of the blade into the wood along the line. Increase the tool's speed to its maximum setting.

Guide the blade's tip along the cut line by applying gentle forward pressure. Continue cutting until you reach the end of the cut line.

Tips & Warnings
Wear safety glasses when operating the Dremel Multi-Max to protect your eyes. Do not wear loose-fitting or baggy clothes, a necktie, or jewelry that the tool might catch hold of.
