How to Glue Cork to Drywall
Bulletin boards are useful features to have in a room. In an office area where you need to display frequent reminders, lists or other items, consider a built-in cork board that covers a large space. By gluing the cork board directly to the wall, you can customize the bulletin board's shape and size. Paint the drywall first before installing the cork. Does this Spark an idea?

Clean the drywall area where you'll be applying the cork. Brush away any dust or debris on the wall.

Cut the cork down to the specific size for your needs using a utility knife.

Turn the cork over to the side that will be against the drywall. Cover the back of the cork with lines of glue from a hot glue gun. Spread the glue around to cover the entire back of the cork using a glue roller.

Pick up the cork and press it to the drywall. Run your hands over the surface to ensure smooth contact. Let the glue dry overnight before handling.

Tips & Warnings
For large sections of cork, cut it down into smaller square or rectangle tiles and attach individually.
