How to Layout a Post in Blogger
Blogger's one of the free blogging platforms available online as of date of publication. Users can use Blogger as a blog, or even as their own website depending on what their individual needs are. In addition to options such as the overall layout and design of a blog and the inclusion of pages, those using Blogger can format or layout their posts in a number of ways. Small changes such as the font type, color and size are possible with just a few clicks. To layout a post on Blogger, you'll need to edit the post in question or create a new one.

Log in to Blogger using your Gmail account information. Click on the "New Post" button beside the blog you'd like to edit or click on the "Edit Posts" if you'd like to change the look and feel of a post you've already published. Click on the "Edit" link beside the post you'd like to edit on the next page.

Give your post a title if it's a new post and then move down to the content box of your post.

Adjust the font type of any post you create by highlighting the text you'd like to alter and then click on the "Font" button in the upper-left corner of the content box. Note that this button is the third one from the left. Select the font you'd like to use from the drop down menu to see which one you like best.

Change the size of your font to break posts into small sections. Create the illusion of headings and subheadings by selecting the words you'd like to enlarge and clicking on the "Font Size" button on the content box, which is the fourth button from the left. Select the size you'd like to use for your highlighted text from the drop down menu.

Add font effects such as "Bold," "Italic" and "Underline" by selecting the text you'd like to change and clicking on the appropriate button on the top of the content box. Note that you can also put a line through your text if you like or even change the text color. Click on the "Text Color" button toward the middle of the content box options and select a color from those available.

Include links to other posts or outside sources by clicking where you'd like to include the link in your post. Give your link a name and paste the URL into the box where it says "To What URL Should This Link Go To?" Click on the "Okay" button once you've finished.

Change the date of your post or schedule it to post at a certain date by clicking on the "Post Options" link under the "Labels" area. Check the radio button next to where it says "Set Date and Time" under the "Post date and time" heading. Type the date in the box available in the M/D/YY format. Note you can also change the time your post appears on that date by typing a specific time in the "Time" box.

Save your post once you've finished and preview it. Read over what you've written for any errors and make changes when necessary by going into your "Posts" list and clicking on the "Edit" link beside the post you'd like to edit.
