How to Make a Raver Shirt
Every raver has his own style that is part of the rave culture, but certain raving rules apply. Bright colors, for example, are a must when designing a rave shirt. These can be offset by glitter or accessories that give the shirt a notable sparkle. Lay the old T-shirt flat on the floor. Use a bright colored shirt, such as neon pink or green. If you don't have any bright colors, use white. White will reflect a black light on the dance floor.

Cut the collar off of the shirt just outside the seam. Leave a small portion of the collar intact and tear it with your hands, instead of the using the scissors. This will give the shirt a rough, edgy look.

Cut the sleeves from the shirt just outside the seam. Cut the sleeves slightly then tear the rest of the sleeves to give the shirt to get the same look as the collar.

Use the glitter puff paint to draw a design on the shirt. Shake the paint bottle and begin and practice on a scrap sheet of paper before applying directly to the shirt. Begin with simple shapes, such as circles or swirls.

Let the shirt dry for two hours. Add beaded necklaces, or strap bracelets to the final look. Give your rave outfit originality with a faux-fur vest or a bright-colored scarf.

Don't overload the shirt with paint, this will weigh down the fabric.
Lights are important in rave culture. Try adding accessories that reflect and catch light, this will really make your rave shirt stand out.
