Fireworks helps you create unique object layouts.

Fireworks is Adobe image creation software that provides various tools and processes for building simple to complex graphics. The Fireworks interface includes the concept of layering which enables you to place objects on their own layer, giving you the ability to manipulate each item independently. Use the Fireworks "Layer" panel to hide a portion of one object behind another.

Instructions

    • 1

Open Adobe Fireworks. Select "File" and "New" to create a new file.

    • 2

Draw an object, for instance, a blue box. Draw a second object such as a red circle. Move the blue box until it is partially hidden behind the red circle.

    • 3

Click "F2" to display the "Layers" panel. Click on and drag any layer to change the stacking order. For instance, if you want the blue box to be on top and the red circle partially hidden, drag the blue box to the first position.
