You can turn the iCal application into a place to store your daily diary entries.

The Mac OS X operating system, which runs on Apple's desktop and laptop computer lines, includes a calendar and scheduling program called iCal. Within iCal, you can create events and set them to repeat on a regular basis. If you are interested in keeping track of things throughout the day, you can use a repeating event in iCal to function as a digital diary. The notes you enter each day will be saved on your computer and accessible from your mobile devices as well.
