How to Know He Wants to Spend the Rest of His Life With You
Dating is a tricky business filled with paths that lead to happily ever after or others that wind toward another "Mr. Right." Finding the right man is the most difficult part of the journey, especially if you aren't sure he is ready to commit. There are several tell-tale signs that will let you know if he is ready for the long haul, or headed out the door.

1
Bring your man around your friends and family. A man that is ready for a commitment will be eager to enter your life and get to know your parents, siblings and friends.
-
2
Pay attention to how he introduces you to other people. If he introduces you as his "girlfriend" he is ready to make a commitment. A man that also talks about the future using the pronoun "we" instead of "I" is also ready for a future together. If he introduces you as a "friend" or doesn't introduce you at all, he is not fully in the relationship.

3
Ask him a question about your future. If he begins to talk about marriage, houses and kids he is ready for a commitment. If he skirts the question or doesn't mention you in his future, he isn't fully committed.
-
4
Ask him to perform a task that isn't fun or exciting, such as taking care of you when sick or helping one of your friends move. If he is enthusiastic about performing these laborious tasks, he is ready to commit.
-
5
Pay attention to how he makes decisions regarding the relationship. If he is willing to compromise about major decisions, he is mature enough to start a committed relationship. A guy that always wants his way isn't prepared to accept the challenges of commitment.
-
6
Pay attention to the company he keeps. If the majority of his friends are in committed relationships or married, he might be ready to follow suit. A man that hangs out with other single people isn't ready to give up that lifestyle.
