Instructions

    • 1

Buy boots that properly fit the shape of your leg and foot. Take time to find boots that contour to your leg size and shape. Although you may want to purchase a pair of boots because you like their look, if they do not fit your legs correctly, they might be likely more to slouch when worn.

Place boot trees inside your boots when you are not wearing them. Adjust the boot tree according to the manufacturers' instructions so that it fills the width of the boot and provides the optimal shape.

    • 3

Insert double-sided tape between your jeans' pants leg and the boots where the boot slouches. If you're not wearing jeans, wear socks long enough to stretch the length of the boot and place the double-sided tape on the socks. Put the boot on and press the boot leg firmly against the tape.

Loosen boots carefully when taking them on and off. If your boots have buttons or zippers around the leg or heel area, open them to make space for your foot and leg when putting the boots on and when taking them off. This limits damage to the boot's shape.
