In the interactive pet simulation game "Pet Society," each player fills the role of steward to a pet. Beyond playing with your pet and developing a house for it to live in, your responsibilities also include feeding and bathing. If you make the choice to neglect the hygiene stat and its gauge on your interface becomes too low, your pet will defecate and potentially produce a golden or rainbow-colored specimen.

Remove any bars of soap or brushes from the environment to prevent your pet from grooming itself and restarting the hygiene bar. Also avoid environments featuring bathtubs and whirlpools.

Play games, fetch, and race with your pet to deplete its hygiene faster. Playing these games in a garden rather than a room also picks up the pace.

Wait for the hygiene bar to reach its critical point, when your dog will produce feces that can be disposed of, or in rare cases, sold. Rainbow or golden feces are seen as status symbols within the game and therefore can sell for an appreciable amount of money.

Tips & Warnings
If your pet begins grooming or jumps in a tub without your instruction to do so, quickly open your inventory to pause the game, then refresh the page to reverse the progress made on your pet's hygiene.
