How to Make a Firework Art Project
Fireworks crafts, such as pictures made out of glitter and glue, are perfect for the summer months and quick and simple to for children or adults to make. They can be as large or small as you want. Make small ones for place cards at a patriotic party or create large pictures on poster board to hang on a wall in your home.
Things You'll Need
- Black paper
- White glue
- Toothpick
- Glitter (silver, gold, red, blue)
- Colored rice (optional)

Lay the black paper on the table.

Spread the glue on the paper in a fireworks pattern. If you need really thin lines, use a toothpick to draw them.

Sprinkle glitter on the wet glue. Make sure to completely cover the glue.

Allow the glue and glitter to dry completely before moving the paper.

Fold the paper into a "U" shape and funnel the excess glitter back into the container.

Tips & Warnings
If you want multiple colors on one piece of paper, only do one firework at a time. Create the glue design for one color, sprinkle the glitter and allow it to dry. Proceed to the next color and do it the same way.
Instead of glitter, use colored rice in the same manner.
Glitter can get in the eyes, nose and mouth of small children. Supervise carefully.
