How to Get Egg Out of a Pan
One of the most frustrating things about making an omelet or any other style of eggs is moving the beautiful-looking meal in the pan off of the stove and on to a plate without destroying the structure. Whether it's a few eggs over easy or a veggie-filled omelet, successfully removing the cooked eggs from the frying pan requires the right preparation, the right tools, and the correct procedure. Does this Spark an idea?

Prepare the pan. Don't use a pan that is too big or too small for the amount of eggs you're making. A small pan will make the eggs too thick and therefore too heavy, making the removal process a real challenge. A pan that is too large will force the eggs to thin out, and you will most likely rip the eggs as you try to move them onto a plate.

2
Use a small amount of butter or oil to coat the cooking surface. Some people don't like the taste of olive oil so they use butter, but be careful, because butter burns and blackens more quickly.

Turn the burner on a medium heat. If the heat is too high, the eggs will cook quickly and begin to brown. This will make it easy to move them out of the frying pan, but they will be rubbery and tough. If you aren't sure, remember that a lower heat is safer for eggs. Once the oil or butter is noticeably hot and giving off smoke, add the eggs.

4
Flip carefully. Once one side of your egg meal is cooked, get a long spatula ready to flip the eggs. The eggs should no longer translucent in the pan; instead, you should see a solid white or yellow color. Check all the edges to make sure they are loose from the pan, and in one motion, flick your wrist upward to toss the eggs out of the pan, and use the spatula to flip them over. As you practice and get better at this move, you won't need the spatula at all.

Serve. When the eggs are cooked to your liking, use a similar move to remove them from the pan. Scoop them out with a spatula onto the plate, and use a quick wrist flick for assistance. Enjoy your perfectly cooked eggs!
