How to Make a Triple Wrap Bracelet
A triple wrap bracelet wraps three times around your wrist and can create an elegant look in a delicate fabric along the length of your arm. It also can look casual and chic in leather wrapped close together at the wrist. Experiment with different ways to fuse your wrapping material together, adding beads and gems if desired.

Leather Triple Wrap Bracelet
-
1
Measure your wrist's circumference. Cut each of your leather strips that length, and cut fabric strips twice that length if you're not making a leather bracelet. Cut the strips as wide as you want each bracelet wrap to be. Cut the ends at a diagonal so the pieces will spiral slightly when you sew them end to end.
-
2
Sew the ends of the leather pieces together with an embroidery needle. Line up diagonals cut in opposite direction so they sit flush against one another. The long leather strip should wrap easily around your wrist three times when finished.

-
3
Cover the embroidery stitches with bits of fabric or embroidery floss, or leave them unadorned if you used a color that matches your leather.
-
4
Cut a string of jewelry wire measuring three times your wrist circumference if you're not using leather strips.
-
5
Try on your bracelet to check the fit. Sew an eye and hook on either end of the leather bracelet.
Wire and Fabric Wrap Bracelet
-
6
Wrap the jewelry wire around your wrist three times, shaping it into three smooth, bracelet wraps. Space them as wide or narrow as you like. Remove the bracelet when through.
-
7
Wrap one fabric strip at a time around the jewelry wire, looping over and under for an overlapping pattern. When you reach the end of one fabric strip, tack it with needle and thread to the end of the next fabric strip or hot glue it. Repeat the step until the entire bracelet is covered.
-
8
Attach clasps if your wire isn't stiff and snug enough to fit on your arm without a clasp. Tie off the ends, leaving 1 1/2-inch tails. Thread a crimping bead and the half clasps on either end. Loop the thread back through the crimping bead so you have the clasp sitting on a closed loop, and a tail sticking up from the crimping bead hole.
-
9
Crimp the bead with crimping pliers. Keep the loop wires parallel and out of the way. Place the crimped bead in a crimp cover. Close the crimping pliers over it. Repeat on the other side. Snip twist any excess wire sticking out using wire snippers or pliers.
