How to Get a Pokenav in Emerald
Pokemon Emerald is a game that allows you to capture and train your own Pokemon, then fight using these Pokemon to progress through the story. If you don't know where you're going, it's easy to get lost in the Pokemon Emerald world. This is where the Pokenav (short for Pokemon Navigator) comes in. The Pokenav allows you to view the map at any given time to help figure out where you are and where you should be headed.

Walk to the end of Route 116. At the very end, you'll see an old man standing next to the entrance of a cave. Talk to him, and he'll tell you about his stolen Pokemon.

Go into the cave and head north east. You'll meet and battle Aqua. After you've defeated Aqua, you get the "Devon Goods."

Head back to Rustboro City. A non-playable character will talk to you, give you the "Great Ball," and take you to meet the president of the Devon Corporation.

Talk to the president, and he'll give you the Pokenav.
