How Do You Exit the Game "Riven"?

"Riven" is a PC game released in 1997 as a follow up the game "Myst." The events of "Riven" occur after those of "Myst" and allow players to further explore the mysteries of the first game. The game is filled with difficult, complex puzzles and requires several play sessions to complete, meaning at some point you will want to save the game and take a break. You can exit "Riven" at any time through the in-game menu.

Instructions

1. Hold the "CTRL" button and hit the "S" key to save your game.

2. Press the "ALT" button to open the game menu.

3. Click "Exit Game" to leave the game world and return to the main menu.

4. Click "Exit" on the main menu to leave the game completely.

Tips & Warnings

• You can hit "ALT" and "F4" simultaneously to exit the game at any time.

• "Riven" menus may have issues with Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. You can remedy these issues by right-clicking the "Riven" icon, selecting "Compatibility Mode" and choosing "Windows 98" mode to start the game.
