How to Troubleshoot an LG WM2801HWA
The LG WM2801HWA is a steam washer equipped with a front-loading drum. Because the LG WM2801HWA uses steam, it consumes less water, saving the homeowner money on the water utility bill. A new owner of an LG WM2801HWA might mistake the hissing noises and gurgling sounds of the machine for a malfunction, but these sounds are normal during the wash cycle. However, if the LG front-load steam washer wobbles, there are thumping sounds, it does not fill with water or will not resume the wash cycle, there are some things to check. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Open your LG WM2801HWA front-load steam washer if it begins to wobble or vibrate irregularly. This is a sign of uneven weight distribution, meaning the clothes have shifted to one side. Redistribute the clothes evenly in the washer to remedy the vibrating or wobbling. Readjust the feet on the bottom, if necessary, with a wrench if the rocking continues.

2
Power your LG WM2801HWA off and unplug the power cord if the washer does not fill with water as normal. Disconnect the hot and cold water supply hoses with a wrench and straighten them if they're twisted or kinked. Reconnect both hoses after straightening them out then plug the LG washer back into the electrical outlet.

3
Open the washer door and check for any obstructions that keep the door from closing entirely. Remove any pieces of clothing that may be protruding out of the washing drum and into the door. Close the door and make sure it is fully sealed the entire way around.
-
4
Check the circuit breaker if your LG WM2801HWA front-load steam washer will not turn on or go through a wash cycle. Look at the dedicated circuit breaker in the main electrical panel to ensure it has not tripped. If it tripped to the neutral position during the wash cycle, replace the circuit breaker with a breaker of equal amperage. If the new breaker trips to the neutral position, have an electrician inspect your wiring.
