Check the power cord attached to the washer if the washer is not getting any power. Ensure that there are no frays or tears in the wiring. If you find any frays or tears in the wiring, have the power cord replaced. Frays and tears can lead to electrical fires.

Check the water faucets connected to the water hoses. Ensure that the water hoses are open if you are not getting any water into the basket. Turn the faucets to the left until you cannot move them anymore. Unkink the hoses if the hoses are kinked. Kinked hoses do not allow water into the washer.

Use a pair of channel locks to tighten the water hose connections on the back of the washer if the washer is leaking water. Use the channel locks to tighten the water hose connections to the faucets if the water is leaking from the faucets. Check the timer to ensure that the timer is not on the "Off" position. This inhibits the washer from getting water.

Adjust the water temperature knob on the washer's control panel if you are not getting the temperature that you want. The LTE6234DTS has a "Cold," "Warm" and "Hot" setting for the water going into the washer.

Open the lid and check the lid switch on the right side of the unit casing. If the lid switch is bent or broken, the washer will not engage the motor. Have an experienced technician replace the lid switch on the unit.

Check the drain hose going from the washer to the drainpipe in your laundry room. If the drain hose is kinked, the water will not be able to go into the drainpipe. Remove any obstruction from the drain hose. Debris and hair can clog the drain hose and must be cleaned.
