How to Keep a Veil From Falling Out
Veils are headpieces that are made out of see-through mesh or tulle fabric. They are traditionally worn by brides at weddings, at funerals by those mourning and on a daily basis in some cultures. Brides choose to wear their veils in a variety of ways, from front veils that drape over the face to veils that are positioned on the crown of the head and fall to the back. Regardless of how you wear your veil, you'll want to keep it from falling out during your event. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Attach the veil to a hair comb. Set the hair comb at the point where you want the veil to come down from your head or face. Use a hot glue gun to make this attachment. Some bridal veils and mourning veils already come attached to hair combs.
-
2
Slide the hair comb and veil into the hair. If you are wearing your hair in an updo, start with the hair comb above the updo and slide it down into the hair, with the teeth facing toward the floor. If you are wearing your hair down and want to attach a veil, slide the veil up into your hair, with the comb's teeth pointed toward the sky.

Secure the veil in place with hair grips. Hair grips are decorative, large bobby pins that are used for elaborate bridal hair designs. Slide the bottom of the hair grip under the comb, grabbing some hair along the way. The comb will be in the middle, or open space, of the hair grip. Close the hair grip so it fastens and the comb feels tighter on your head.

4
Anchor the comb in place with bobby pins. You can hide bobby pins that match the color of your hair, whereas hair grips stand out with a decorative bead on the ends. Use bobby pins to attach the teeth of the veil's comb to the hair.

5
Use styling products, such as strong hairspray. Spray a concentrated amount of hair spray onto the hair and hair comb to keep it in place.
