4. Click "Check Upgrade Options" under the "Quick Links" options menu.

5. Check the box next to the phone you want to upgrade to and then click "Upgrade Selected Lines."

6. Look for phones that say "Refurb." Click "Add to Cart."

7. Follow the on-screen prompts to go through checkout to purchase the refurbished phone.

8. Activate your refurbished phone after it arrives by going to wireless.att.com/activations. Select "Upgrade phone," and then type in your wireless number. Select the verification method, then type in the verification number and click "Next" to begin the process of activating your phone.
