How to Close a Yahoo! HotJobs Account
Your Yahoo! HotJobs account grants access to all of the Yahoo! site functionality, including mail messages, HotJobs postings, message boards and all of the other user account-secured areas of the site. You cannot block access to a specific area of the Yahoo! site, so if you want to remove your HotJobs account, it means deleting your entire Yahoo! account. Once you initiate the process, Yahoo! warns that your account can't be recovered.

Launch your Yahoo! account and enter your account password if prompted. Click "Privacy Policy" at the bottom of the page.

Scroll down to the section devoted to deleting your account and preferences. Click the "Account Deletion" link.

Enter your login information again if prompted. Review the user account information displayed and confirm that this is the account you want to delete.

Enter your account password where prompted, then input the CAPTCHA security verification code. Click "Yes" to delete your account.

Tips & Warnings
Be sure you want to delete your entire account -- you will not be able to reactivate it after the account has been deleted and will have to sign up for a new account.
