All blogs on Google's Blogger service display navigation bar at the top of the page that lets visitors access certain functions quickly such as searching Blogger for specific content or following a favorite blog. If you worry that first-time readers might not see the "Follow" link at the top of the page, however, you can also place a button in the sidebar of your blog. Install a new gadget to display your blog's current followers and to give new visitors an opportunity to follow you or subscribe by email.
