Things You'll Need:

  • Lint-free Cloths
  • Spray Bottles
  • Detergents
  • Liquid Bleach
  • Sponges
  • Sponges
  1. Step 1

    Mix a solution of 1/8 cup mild detergent and 2 quarts water.

  2. Step 2

    Pour solution into a spray bottle.

  3. Step 3

    Shake gently.

  4. Step 4

    Spray solution over tub, sink and countertops.

  5. Step 5

    Use a clean sponge to rub off any dirt, grease or spills.

  6. Step 6

    Wipe up dirt with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth.

Tips & Warnings
  • For ceramic stoves, kitchen countertops and cooking areas, use a disinfectant to kill bacteria left by food.
  • Use a solution of one part water and one part bleach on grout to remove stubborn stains. Let stand for several minutes then rinse with water and dry.
  • Be careful not to inhale bleach fumes. Open windows or run fans to ventilate the area you are working in.
