How to Get Sharpie Out of a Rug
Sharpie is a brand created by the Sanford Ink Company. In 1964, Sharpie permanent markers were introduced. The permanent markers are used for a variety of reasons. Parents write their children's names on school supplies with Sharpies and autograph seekers give Sharpies to musicians, actors and sport players to slow the degradation of their autographs. There is a downside of Sharpie usage. When it gets on a rug, there is no guarantee that the stain can be completely removed. Does this Spark an idea?

Repeat step two until the Sharpie stain stops transferring onto the towel. Each time you dab the stain with the towel, use a clean section of the towel to prevent the stain from transferring back onto the carpet.
