If you love wearing wigs, then you know you should never sleep in them if you want to keep them tangle-free and looking finished and styled when you wear them. If you do get tangles in your wig, you can comb them out. The difficulty of this task is largely determined by the type of hair in your wig. Real hair is easy to style and comb. Things You'll Need

  • Detangling spray
  • Spray bottle
  • Water
  • Hair clips
  • Comb (wide-toothed)

Instructions

      Position the wig on your head.

      Spray a wig with real hair with detangling spray made for real hair. Spray a wig with synthetic hair with a little water.

      Clip most of the hair on top of your head with hair clips. Leave a small section around your neck. Gently comb through the strands, making sure not to tug or pull the hair from the roots. As you detangle the wig, release hair from the clips and add it to the detangled sections until you have combed out the knots throughout the entire wig.
