Things You'll Need

• Purple shampoo or clarifying shampoo for gray hair
• Moisturizing conditioner
• Comb

Instructions

1. Wash hair with purple shampoos made for gray hair. These products have a blue tint that counteracts the yellowing of the gray. Another option is to use a clarifying shampoo formulated for gray hair.

2. Rinse out all traces of the shampoo with warm water.

3. Apply a moisturizing conditioner to the hair. Gray hair needs frequent conditioning to keep it in good contrition.

4. Rinse out the conditioner, comb out hair and dry it as usual.
