Snap-in weaves look very natural.

Snap-in weaves are a cost effective alternative to weaves that must be sewn or glued to real hair. Snap-in weaves create fuller, longer hair in minutes, compared to hours spent at the salon for other weave methods. Snap-in weaves feature small clamps that grasp real hair to lock in position. With a full set of snap-in weave hair pieces, someone can easily make short or thin hair appear thicker and longer without the trip to the salon. Does this Spark an idea?

Use a comb to part your hair from the top of one ear to the other. Place a butterfly clip to hold the top part of your hair. Attach the largest piece of hair near the part. Push the snaps through the hair like a comb, then apply pressure towards the direction of your head to secure in place. Attach the middle snap first, then the side snaps near your ears.

Remove the butterfly clip from your hair. Part your hair horizontally again, one inch above the bottom hair piece. Brush your hair down and over the bottom hair piece. Secure the top portion of your hair with a butterfly clip. Attach the medium-sized hair piece to your hair using the same method as the largest piece. However, the medium-sized hair piece will not have the middle clip like the large-sized hair piece.

Remove the butterfly clip from your hair. Part your hair horizontally, one inch above the middle hair piece. Brush your hair down over the other hair pieces. Secure the top portion of your hair with the butterfly clip. Apply the other medium-sized hair piece to your head using the snaps and by applying pressure with your fingers. The three attached pieces come in a partial set of hair extensions. The full set comes with small snap-in pieces for the sides of your head.

Part your hair on one side above the ear. Pull the hair away from the part and secure with the butterfly clip. Attach one of the four small hair pieces that come in a full set of hair extensions. Remove the butterfly clip and brush your hair over the hair piece. Part your hair again about one inch above the other side hair piece. Secure your other hair with the butterfly clip. Attach another small hair piece closer to your face, so the hair pieces make a staggered pattern. Remove the butterfly clip and brush your hair over the hair piece. Repeat on the other side of your head.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you purchased your weave separately from the hair snaps, attach the snaps to the weave with a needle and thread.

  • Match the color and texture of your natural hair to the color and texture of the snap-in weave, so it does not appear artificial.

  • Remove your snap-in weave at bedtime to prevent hair damage and loss.
