- 5 feet paracord in a different color
- 2 1/2 feet paracord in any color
- Scissors
- Lighter
Instructions

1
Use the 2 1/2-foot piece of paracord and bring the ends of it together. Tie a loose knot approximately 1 inch from the ends.
-
2
Bring the loop to the knot and pull it over to see how big the bracelet will be. Move the knot up higher if necessary to make it smaller.

3
Burn the other two pieces of paracord together to make one long piece. Make one small melted point on the end of one piece of paracord and remove a portion of the inside of the end of the other piece paracord. Insert the end of one piece of paracord into the end of the other. Use the lighter to melt the loose strands of the paracord around the other piece to fuse them together.
-
4
Lay the long piece of paracord out horizontally and place the shorter piece of paracord that you previously tied vertical with the knot pointing down.
-
5
Take the right side of the longer paracord and bring it over to the left, going over the shorter piece of paracord. Feed the left piece of the long paracord through the loop made by the other end of the piece.
-
6
Tighten the loop, leaving 1 inch of the loop from the smaller paracord sticking out the top. Make another stitch just like the previous one, folding the strand that was originally on the right from the left side to the right side and feeding the other side of the strand behind it and through the loop you create. Continue making the same stitch until you have only 1 inch left before reaching the knot at the bottom.
-
7
Test the bracelet for fit and snip off any loose ends, leaving only 1/4 inch left hanging. Melt those ends with the lighter and press them down to create a mushroom shape to prevent fraying.
