How to Make Your Own No-Rinse Floor Cleaning Solution for a Libman Mop

Use white vinegar in your Libman mop.

Libman produces a variety of mops, including the Freedom Spray Mop that allows you to pour cleaning solution into the mop, spray it onto the floor and mop. Using a no-rinse solution allows you to clean the floor without having to go back over it with a damp mop to collect any leftover cleaning solution. Commercial no-rinse cleaners can be costly, but you can create your own low-cost cleaner that requires no rinsing and leaves any hard floor surface looking flawless.

Things You'll Need

• Water
• White vinegar

Instructions

1. Fill the cleaning solution canister with 1 part water and 4 parts white vinegar. Shake the bottle to mix the ingredients and snap it into place on your mop.

2. Spray the solution over the hard floor surface and wipe it down with the mop. Start at one corner of the room and work your way backward so you do not have to step across the freshly cleaned floor.

3. Spray as needed while you move across the room and allow the floor to air dry.
