How to Cancel a Post on YouTube

It's possible to send out "channel bulletin" updates to YouTube channel subscribers, just as you would do on Facebook or Twitter. You can cancel a bulletin you post on YouTube if you realize it is erroneous shortly after you post it or if it becomes irrelevant at some future time. Canceling a post on your YouTube profile instantly removes it from wherever it appears on YouTube.

Instructions

    • 1

Browse to YouTube.com and log in to your account. If you have linked your YouTube account with your Google account and you are logged in to a Google service such as Gmail or Blogger, you'll be logged in to YouTube automatically.

    • 2

Click your username in the upper right section of the YouTube screen. Select the "Channel" button.

    • 3

Scroll down to "Recent Activity." Hover your mouse over the post you want to cancel and click the "X" button that appears next to it. The post is deleted from YouTube.
