The Kindle application lets you view your Kindle books on your computer.

The Kindle application for Mac computers lets Mac users read their Kindle books directly on their laptop or desktop. What the application lacks, however, is the ability to print a portion of the book you are reading for future reference. Luckily, Mac computers let you save screenshots of individual pages, which you can then print in a few simple steps using the "Preview" application.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the "Finder" icon in the computer's dock, followed by the "Applications" folder icon. Double-click the "Kindle" application icon to launch it.

    • 2

Click on the book in your Kindle library that you want to print a portion of, to open in the Kindle application.

    • 3

Navigate to the page of the ebook that you wish to print.

    • 4

Press and "Apple," "Shift" and "4" keys simultaneously on the computer's keyboard to bring up the screenshot crosshair.

    • 5

Click and hold the upper-left corner of the Kindle ebook page and drag the screenshot crosshair down to the bottom-right corner of the ebook page to capture a screenshot of the page.

    • 6

Double-click the screenshot jpeg file on the computer's desktop to open the file in the "Preview" application.

    • 7

Click the "File" tab and select the "Print..." option from the File menu. Click the "Print" button to print the page.
