How to Kill Brotherhood Outcasts in "Fallout 3"
"Fallout: New Vegas" is an expansion of "Fallout 3." The Brotherhood of Steel plays a central role in the plot, and one of their main antagonists is the Brotherhood Outcasts. The Outcasts have willfully separated themselves from the Brotherhood to focus on securing advanced weaponry and armor. Because of their Power Armor, Outcasts are just as difficult to kill as other members of the Brotherhood. The player could conceivably finish one off with a pistol if he was patient and lucky enough, but normal weapons are less effective against them. Instead, he should use a power weapon, such as the Pulse Gun.

Go to Vault 34. It's located in the Mojave Desert immediately north of Cannibal Johnson's Cave.

Enter the Armory, which is located on the second floor. You'll find the Pulse Gun in the chest.

Equip the Pulse Gun.

Hit a Brotherhood Outcast twice with the Pulse Gun. It will fry him inside his armor, making this the fastest way to take out anyone in the Brotherhood -- Outcast or not.
