How to Make Oven Cleaner at Home
Oven cleaners are used to clean and remove burnt-on residue from your oven surface. The problem is, often the commercial oven cleaners at the supermarket contain harmful and unnecessary chemicals, plus give off harmful fumes. Make your own oven cleaner at home by using milder cleaning agents, which can keep your oven clean without causing any damage to the oven or introducing any chemicals to your home. Things You'll Need
- 3 tbsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. dish soap
- 4 tbsp. white vinegar
- Bowl
- Spoon
- Nylon scrubbing pad
- Cleaning rags

Mix 3 tbsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. dish soap and 4 tbsp. white vinegar in a bowl.

Dip a nylon scrubbing pad into the mixture and scrub across your oven. Continue until all residue is removed from the oven.

Run a cleaning rag under water, wring out the rag a bit and wipe down the inside of the oven to collect the residue and leftover cleaning solution.

Rinse the cleaning rag out again, wring out well and wipe down the oven again to ensure a thorough clean.
