There is a way to fix it so it will be virtually undetectable. Even sweaters with the smallest of weaves, such as cashmere, can be fixed with a crochet hook. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Push a straight pin into the area where the snag is on your sweater. This will make it easier to find the spot from the other side of the sweater.
-
2
Turn the sweater inside out.
-
-
3
Push a small crochet hook, about a size B or C, into the hole where the pull is.
-
4
Grab the pulled yarn with the crochet hook and pull it through the hole. Gently tug on the yarn to be sure you pulled all of the lose yarn through the hole.
-
5
Tie a knot in the loose piece of yarn if it is long. If you don't tie a knot, the yarn may work itself back out to the front of your sweater.

Tips & Warnings
Use a snag repair needle for sweaters or other fabrics with very thin threads that are tightly woven.
Be sure to pull the thread through the same hole that you pushed the crochet hook through to avoid making an additional snag in the sweater.
